I have been talking with my daughters lately about the way I think about AI.
For me, the most useful question is not, “What can AI do?” It is:
"How can I use AI to perform at a superhuman level?"
That may sound dramatic, but it is exactly how AI has changed the way I work. It allows me to move through projects faster, organize huge amounts of information, analyze problems from multiple angles, develop and refine ideas, learn unfamiliar tools, and take on projects that would once have required several different people or specialized skill sets.
But there is an important distinction: AI is not doing the thinking for me. It is amplifying what I already bring to the work: experience, judgment, strategy, subject-matter knowledge, curiosity, and the ability to recognize when something is right—or when it is not.
Think about where AI could multiply your own abilities:
- Turn hours of research into a focused starting point
- Analyze information you would never have time to review manually
- Learn new skills while you are actually doing the work
- Turn rough ideas into usable plans much faster
- Handle repetitive tasks and processes, freeing you to focus on judgment and relationships
- Give you capabilities that once would have required outside experts or additional staff
For independent distributors, this could mean using AI to prepare for a sales call, analyze customer questions, create training materials, improve a website, develop marketing content, organize Vendor information, or uncover opportunities hidden in data you already have.
But the goal should not simply be to use AI to do the same work a little faster.
Ask a bigger question: What could I accomplish with AI that I could not realistically accomplish before?
That is where things get interesting.
The people and companies that get the most value from AI won't necessarily be the ones using the most tools. They will be the ones who learn how to combine AI with their own knowledge, experience, relationships, and judgment.
- Use AI to do more of what you already know how to do.
- Use it to learn what you do not know yet.
- Use it to expand what you believe you are capable of accomplishing.
In other words, do not just use AI to become more efficient. Use it to become superhuman. CONTACT US to chat about AI or Digital Marketing.
